Privatlivspolitik
- Anthropic (USA) laver AI-opskrifterne.
Dine rettigheder
Privacy policy
Dinnerweek is an app for planning the week’s dinners together as a household, with shared recipes and a shopping list. The app is being tested by a small number of families. This page explains what we store, why, and who processes it.
Data controllers
Henrik Gram and Peter Terp, Denmark, are joint data controllers for Dinnerweek. Henrik Gram is the contact person and answers all questions about your data: privacy@dinnerweek.app.
What we store
- Account: your email and a password. The password is stored only as an encrypted value that we cannot read.
- Household: the household’s name, country, its members and invitation codes.
- What you add: recipes, weekly plans, favourites, shopping lists, your own items and settings.
- Photos: photos you take of a recipe, and images from posts you import from Instagram or Facebook. They are stored privately and only your household can see them.
- AI usage: how many AI recipes your household makes per day, so we can keep a limit.
We do not store your location, your contacts or information about your phone beyond what is needed to sign in. The app has no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics.
Why
We use the data to provide the app to you and your household: saving the plan, sharing it with the others in the household and making recipes with AI when you ask for it. The legal basis is our agreement with you to use the app (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). During the test we also look at how much the app is used per household (for example the number of planned weeks) to improve it.
Who processes the data
- Supabase stores the database, sign-in and photos on servers in the EU.
- Anthropic (USA) makes the AI recipes. When you ask the app for a recipe from a name, a link, a text or a photo, exactly that is sent to Anthropic together with the household’s country and language. Your email and name are not sent. The transfer to the USA is covered by Anthropic’s data processing terms with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Cloudflare serves the web version of the app and can see your IP address when you open it.
- Apple (TestFlight) knows your email when you are invited to the test, and may send us crash reports if you have allowed it.
We never sell data and do not share it with anyone other than those listed above.
On your phone
The app keeps the latest version of the plan, recipes and shopping list on your phone so it works offline. It is removed when you log out.
How long we keep it
We keep the data for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account in the app under Profile. Your account is deleted immediately. If you are the last member of the household, its recipes, plans, lists and photos are deleted too; otherwise they stay with the other members.
Your rights
You can access the data we hold about you, have it corrected, deleted or handed over, and object to the processing. Write to privacy@dinnerweek.app. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk) or your local authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new date appears at the top, and we will tell you about larger changes in the app.
